Project Description
This research will deploy two methods. The first is a GIS, land, and building mapping project of the City of Milwaukee to result in a 3D Rhino model of the city of Milwaukee. The second is a historical project analysis of the urban Milwaukee environment to catalogue UWM SARUP's impact on the built environment. The final result will be a built physical 3D scale model that highlights through different colors and projections the overall impact of SARUP on the city.
Tasks and Responsibilites
Students will be tasked with using GIS, cadmapper, physical site visits, historical and database research to produce a virtual 3D model of Milwaukee and SARUP's impact on the city in the fall semester. In the Spring semester students will begin 3D printing and creating the physical model of the research.
