Project Description

'- Evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of the “Aging Together” anti-ageism education and peer support program
- Identify initial outcomes of the program related to participants’ self-perceptions of aging, self-efficacy, social connectedness, and cognitive function

Tasks and Responsibilites

'- Completed CITI research ethics training to register as a co-researcher for this project through the UWM institutional review board
- Attend weekly “Aging Together” program sessions
- Collect sign-in sheets at each session
- Maintain visit and recruitment logs to identify barriers and facilitators in program recruitment, retention, and implementation
- Collect brief acceptability surveys from participants and feedback surveys from facilitators after each session
- Ensure program sessions are audio recorded if in-person or video recorded if online
- Take detailed observational notes based on session recordings as part of visit and recruitment logs
- Opportunities to contribute as a co-author on peer-reviewed manuscripts and/or community presentations

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization, and ethical integrity
