Project Description
The objective is to improve the solar irradiance modeling within a solar energy modeling tool. In this project, the student will review the literature, identify articles and methods aligned with the requirements of the solar energy modeling tool, and implement in computer software an irradiance modeling component that is suitable to the tool and has strong support in the literature.
Tasks and Responsibilites
Review literature, identify a well established solar irradiance statistical modeling method, and implement that method in the computer software environment Matlab.
