Computer-Based Monitoring and Control for a Solar Sculpture

Project Description

International artist and UWM MFA graduate Richard Taylor (PSOA / MFA / 1991) has conceived a series of Solar Sculptures that will collect solar energy during the day and exhibit a visual performance in the evening to night. The visual performance will be responsive to the luminous character of the day. Work on the Solar Sculpture has progressed to the point that the artist's firm has contracted with an electronics development company to design and build the needed microprocessor-based electronic boards.

Tasks and Responsibilites

C-language programming is needed to make the electronic boards operational.
