Project Description
The goal of this research is to increase understanding of the communication experiences of people with disabilities. Within the communication discipline, the disabled (and their family) are an underrepresented population, and communication researchers are increasingly seeking to increase their voices. This work involves in-depth one-on-one interviews, which need transcription and analysis.
Tasks and Responsibilites
The student researcher's primary task is transcribing the interviews. Their secondary task is coding the transcripts for certain characteristics.
