Joshua Estrada-Serrano

Joshua is an undergraduate studying psychology, American Sign Language (ASL), and Women's and Gender Studies (WGS) at UWM and works as a research assistant in the Nagy lab. He plans to attend graduate school for clinical psychology. He joined STAR to deepen his understanding of higher education and connect with a community of researchers who will support and enrich his research goals. Through STAR research, Joshua has focused on aging disparities in marginalized communities, including the Latinx community. He is passionate about future research, especially working with diverse populations to help them address a range of psychological and behavioral issues. Outside of STAR, he enjoys being outside, exploring new places in Milwaukee, and spending time with friends.
