Chris Roche has been hired as the Associate Director of Athletics – Development, Milwaukee Director of Athletics Amanda Bruan announced in December of 2017.

Roche joins the University's Development & Alumni Relations team and will lead all aspects of development, including donor prospecting, cultivation, stewardship and campaign management for the Milwaukee Athletic Department.

"We are excited that Chris has joined our team," Braun said. "We have a tremendous amount of momentum built up in this area in recent years and Chris is the ideal person to help us continue moving forward. He brings a strong fundraising background and a passion for higher education and athletics that was immediately apparent."

Roche brings 10-plus years of wide-ranging development experience to the Panthers, joining the staff from Carroll University following prior tenures at both Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin. His experience at both Carroll and Marquette included work raising funds for athletics.

The Milwaukee Athletics Department wrapped up another record-setting fiscal year this past summer. In addition to setting a new record with $1.36 million in total gifts and pledges, the 830 total number of donors is the second-highest, behind the record of 926 set the year prior.

That marked the fourth straight year that total gifts and pledges increased and three times in four years that the total number of donors has risen.
