Ariana Natalie Myers (she/her) was born and raised in Milwaukee County. After a jaunt in New Jersey for graduate school and Spain for research, she is proud to have returned to her hometown to serve as the Director of the LGBTQ+ Resource Center at UWM. Her work touches on all areas of university operations: inclusive policy advocacy as Chair of the Chancellor's Advisory Committee for LGBTQ+ Advocacy, campus climate assessment, direct student mentoring and support, education and professional development for faculty and staff, event and programming development, and management of the staff operations in the Center itself. She also teaches for the History Department as a Lecturer.

She received an A.B. in History, Spanish, and Classical Languages from Ripon College, and a Master's and Ph.D. in History from Princeton University.
