Bob is an accomplished IT Director with a proven track record of leading successful initiatives at UWM. With a staff of 9 under his leadership, Bob has consistently driven innovation and efficiency in the university's technology infrastructure.

With over 30 years of experience in IT management, Bob brings a depth of knowledge in leveraging technology to support administrative functions. He has a keen understanding of the unique challenges facing educational institutions and is dedicated to implementing solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and the success of our student community.

Under Bob's direction, the Technology Integration and Engagement department has achieved notable accomplishments, including implementing wireless networking in University Housing, implementation of an electronic health records system, Medicat, and providing data, reporting, and applications to successfully manage compliance during the COVID epidemic, to name a few. He fosters a collaborative and customer-focused culture within the IT team, resulting in streamlined processes and improved user satisfaction.

Bob received his undergraduate degree in Theatre under UWM’s nationally known Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP) and his master’s degree in business management. It is while an undergraduate that Bob fell into IT and has not looked back since.

Outside of work, Bob can be found working outside in his yard, traveling, reading, and spending time with close friends and family.
