Molly Hanson begins her fifth season as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Milwaukee women's basketball team heading into the 2019-20 season.

Hanson has played a pivotal role during the Panthers' run to the WNIT in both 2017-18 and 2015-16 and the WBI in 2016-17. She works directly with head coach Kyle Rechlicz on coordinating team travel, budget, practices and other program functions.

Hanson also oversees Milwaukee's student manager staff, helping work with and develop their skills and talents.

She also organizes and coordinates all aspects of the annual golf outing.

"Molly is a great addition to our Panther Family," Kyle Rechlicz said. "She brings a positive energy and a tireless work ethic to the office every day and her communication and organizational skills are two attributes that we lean on heavily."

Hanson joined the Milwaukee staff after working as the head student manager for the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball program in 2014-15.

As the head student manager at Wisconsin, Hanson was responsible for numerous organizational tasks that contributed to the day-to-day operations of the program. She assisted in the organization and execution of team practices, kept practices on a timely schedule, supervised the student-manager staff and allocated the workload to cover the needs of the program.

She also played a vital role in Badger camps, serving as the assistant director in 2014, organizing and operating the program from 2012-14. She graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in May of 2015.
