
Edwin Bacalso, MSW, LCSW

Edwin Bacalso is an adjunct instructor in the Helen Bader School of Social Work. Prior to teaching, he worked in the Institute for Child and Family Well-Being as a project manager and research assistant. He has worked on projects exploring the efficacy of trauma-informed practices and community-based responses. He has also served as a research psychotherapist, delivering group Cognitive Processing Therapy to adults impacted by incarceration.
Outside of the academic setting, Edwin practices clinical social work in psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. He provides training and consultation to fellow social workers and clinical practitioners on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
