Launch your bachelor’s degree at UW-Milwaukee

Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) students who have an associate degree in Human Services or Substance Use Disorder Counseling are ready to jump into UWM’s social work bachelor’s program.

UWM’s social work program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Students in the program complete two semesters of fieldwork and are paired with a site that suits their career goals.

UWM University Center at WCTC

The UWM University Center at WCTC assists students transferring into the social work program at UW-Milwaukee. Articulation agreements with WCTC document the transfer policies into the Bachelor of Science in social work at UWM.

As a UWM student at WCTC, you’ll be in the right place to:

  • Complete a bachelor’s degree close to home. You’ll have access to both WCTC student resources and UW-Milwaukee faculty.
  • Learn from UWM faculty and instructional staff who are globally recognized as experts in their field.
  • Make connections at your internships and through other professional opportunities that can turn into full-time job offers at graduation.
