Kathy Blumenfeld

Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld is a leader with extensive experience in the financial services industry, business and government. In January 2022, she was appointed as secretary of the Department of Administration for the State of Wisconsin.

Previously, Secretary Blumenfeld was appointed by Governor Tony Evers to her role as the secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, commonly referred to as DFI.

Before taking this position, she served as executive vice president of Special Operations at TASC (Total Administrative Services Corporation). There she led a federal contract modernizing the workplace charitable giving program for all federal employees and retirees.

Prior to her work at TASC, Secretary Blumenfeld was vice president of Lending and Payment Security for CUNA Mutual Group, where she worked for 26 years. She began her career in the financial realm as a certified public accountant and has been active in her community serving on a variety of nonprofit and business boards.

As secretary, she has been committed to developing caring and diverse teams that are passionate about their jobs and providing great customer service. A few of her top priorities at DFI include financial literacy and capability at all life stages, protecting consumers from financial fraud (particularly financial abuse of our seniors), entrepreneurship and college affordability.

Jodi Breese

Jodi Breese is the vice president of customer implementation for CUNA Mutual Group. Jodi has deep expertise in developing organizational capabilities, including a proven track record of helping teams through dramatic change initiatives and deepening staff competencies to deliver business results.

Jodi gets her energy from delivering on her leadership mission of creating a healthy, safe environment where her employees can feel respected and included and can grow to their full potential.

Jodi is the sponsor of the Caregivers Employee Resource Group and has played a leadership role in the Women’s Leadership Network at CUNA Mutual Group. Jodi is co-founder and chief operations officer for 4everMoxiTM, a start-up company focused on enabling women to achieve success.

Jodi holds a degree in business management from Upper Iowa University and is a faculty staff member of the Western CUNA Management School. Jodi is involved in many community volunteer activities and has over 20-plus years with the Manatee Wildlife State Park serving as a volunteer educator.
