Desiree Coleman-Fry

Desiree Coleman-Fry is an internationally recognized speaker, award-winning executive and best-selling author who empowers women and advances equity. She’s been featured in the “New York Times,” “Harvard Business Review” and her TEDx talk, “How to Build Inclusive Workplaces,” has sparked critical dialogue about the experiences of women of color at work. Desiree was recently honored by The Sophia Project for her civic, philanthropic and public leadership.

Through Women Work Well, the social impact organization she founded, Desiree is on a mission to see one million women work well via their personal, professional and economic mobility. Desiree is a working mom of four and C-suite executive who will complete a doctoral program at Saint Louis University this May. 

Her LinkedIn Learning course, “Nanotips for Identifying and Overcoming Unconscious Bias in the Workplace” was commended for effectively helping managers and organizations operationalize inclusion. Desiree received Career Mastered’s 2022 D&I Champions Award and Investment News’ 2019 Rising Star in DEI Award. Desiree holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University, is a Danforth Plant Science Center trustee and lives in the St. Louis area with her husband and kids.
