Is this trip right for you?
- Some hotels are built in the traditional local style and have no air-conditioning. During heat waves, these hotels can become uncomfortable.
- Road travel between cities will often be rough and bumpy and can take longer than expected due to local conditions. This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking. Costa Rica properties may be spread across the grounds and connected by outdoor walking paths; access to main facilities may involve walking, steps or uneven surfaces.
- There are several days with over 5 hours of driving. This tour includes travel by motorboat.
- Expect 3-4 hours of walking on included sightseeing days, as well as considerable time standing.
- On this tour, you may need to walk on uneven and challenging terrain, navigate steep steps or slopes and encounter cobblestone streets.
