Bio

Zari Kunesh is a senior Design and Visual Communications Major at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has become well versed in all aspects of art-from Adobe Creative Suite to drawing and painting. Most recently, she completed a summer term abroad studying painting and art history in Florence, Italy. She is a firm believer that it is important to be well-educated in several areas of art.

Previously, she was an Art and Design Office Assistant in the Peck School of the Arts at UWM. She was responsible for keeping records organized and assisting professors within the Art and Design department. Before transferring to UW-Milwaukee, Zari worked at Ripon College as a Collaborative Learning Center Tutor. She was responsible for teaching fellow college students how to write academic papers as well as correcting college papers. This job enhanced her ability to be able to work with others as well as how to teach people valuable skills.

Outside of the academic world, Zari is an avid horseback rider. She rides her horse regularly and has competed in several competitions over the years. Zari is a very active person and enjoys spending time outdoors.

As a designer, Zari believes it is imperative to remain informed on current events as well as have thorough knowledge of the past. As an informed designer, she is able to produce relevant designs that will impact society in a positive way.

“Endless Possibilities,” is a visual representation of how the choices we make can lead to many interesting outcomes. It also emphasizes how it is important to take chances in order to introduce quality to the world.
