Bio
Originally from a small town in southern Wisconsin, Mandy Eppers now resides in Glendale, Wisconsin. She is currently a senior in the Design and Visual Communication program at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Among her design passions are the graphic arts, typography, branding and identity, product design, and packaging design.
Throughout Mandy’s education, she has gained invaluable skills in the Adobe Creative Suites, HTML5 and CSS. With this range of creative outlets, in conjunction with her analytical and organizational skills, she is able to look at a design problem and determine the most viable solution.
In her free time, Mandy enjoys designing intricate and meaningful tattoos for loved ones. She also enjoys boating, hiking, and camping with friends and family. Mandy is always open to new experiences and aspires to use her hard work and passion to serve a company in reaching all of their goals and more.
Description
Thrive is a visual representation of the lessons I have learned from my past, my current outlook on life, and the aspirations that I hold for my future. It emulates themes that surround me everyday, such as growth, change, dreams, courage, passion, pain, and love. The printed botanical-inspired illustrations were wood transferred and assembled into Jacob’s Ladders, further enhancing these themes through their cascading, changing, and progressive nature. While the illustrations only house a few aspects of my written manifesto, the interior of my packaging lists a full version.
