Bio

Majorie is a Design and Visual Communications student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who is passionate about bring art to life through various forms of mediums, colors, and styles. She loves to illustrate on her free time and believes that it’s always good to put twice as much effort at the beginning of one’s experimentations in order to exploit and discover all the different design possibilities before finalizing any work. Majorie is continuously working to improve her artistic skills and is always optimistic to test uncharted waters with materials or themes she’s never worked with before in the realm of design. Video games, graphic novels, as well as traditional novels have a great impact on Majorie’s art style and approach to design including inspiration. If she could, she would want to be a Mast of All Trades in regard to art and design. She has self-taught herself design programs and techniques, and her ambition is only continuing to grow.

Description

As a designer and individual I’ve always found myself doing more work than necessary, however, that’s not a bad thing. Some might say simple is better, but I say, go as complex as you can! Be as crazy as you can be! The more fearless you become, the greater explorations you can make. My manifesto is a short summary of the simple things we may do in everyday life and by putting 120% effort and passion into something results in great personal growth.
