Bio

Katarina (Kat) is your typical justice loving, cardigan-clad, tree-hugging, caffeinated millennial. Living and creating in Milwaukee, she has collaborated with nonprofits and small businesses through freelance design, internships, and volunteer programs gaining inside experience in the areas of law, government, business, and film. In her spare time, she has served in leadership as the graphic designer and officer on AIGA WI’s UWM board while involving herself in various art and design programs such as Design Mil, Islands of Brilliance Mentorship Program, and several local art builds. Living mindfully and empathetically is an important part of her life, with identity and storytelling being two of her main thematic focuses. She works to marry professional practices with her childhood love of narrative/character development. Kat considers her perspective and creative flexibility to be professional strengths while working and building upon her technical and organizational skill as she gains industry knowledge. She enjoys working in illustration, packaging, identity branding, and information graphics.
