Bio
Born in Decatur, Illinois, Kanika came to Milwaukee when she started college in the fall of 2013. She loved computers since the age of three when her father showed her how to put them together, as well as how to use them. It was her junior year in high school when her love for digital art began thanks to her multimedia class. It was at that time that she discovered her love for illustration and design. Kanika is currently majoring in Design and Visual Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
When Kanika isn’t taking out time to design, she’s baking some type of savory treat, or cooking up a delectable dish. She also has a strong love for music and singing it is something she does a lot of in her free time.
Description
My manifesto is a call out to the undermining of women. The fact that we are treated differently because of our gender is something that has yet to fully change. The purpose of my cards are to make women feel proud of who they are.
