Bio
Meg is a creative from Kalamazoo, Michigan, receiving an Honors Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Design + Visual Communications. She sits on the board of AIGA-UWM, and is currently employed at the Rehabilitation, Research, Design and Disability (R2D2) Center working with a team of therapists and developers to create apps to make homes more accessible for people with physical disabilities. She has done work for Tabal Chocolate, RE-volv Solar Initiative, Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra and the Milwaukee Children’s Choir. She keeps active with environmental and social issues in Milwaukee, and is interested in finding ways to use her design eye for socially engaged art, education/art therapy, and community building.
Project Description
M-CUBED is initiative to help connect MPS students with the people, resources and skills that they need to go on to college at MATC and/or UWM. With the help of M-CUBED, we hope that the young people of Milwaukee will stay, learn and work to improve our city for the next generation of learners. This initiative requires the commitment of students, educators, administrators, parents, and the greater Milwaukee Community.
