Project Description
Promoting the practice of bettering one’s health is an important part of long term home health care. The Hmong community in Milwaukee is one of the largest communities in the US and who are twice as likely to be diagnosed with diabetes. This series of pamphlets was designed to guide Hmong patients through the steps necessary to care for their diabetes. Along with the pamphlets, a video educates patients on the use of insulin. I was fortunate enough to work the pharmacist and her interns at Hayat Pharmacy in Milwaukee to develop these materials.
Research Question
