Project Description

Austin vs. The World is a comparative analysis of my life compared to the rest of the world. The design uses a multitude of different design techniques ranging from 2D and 3D on the computer to hand constructed pieces. The project includes an infographic, 3D printed models, laser cut packaging, and 3D scanned and cut large-scale model. The research was tracked over 31 days by hand in my notebook and then compared to the rest of the worlds global averages for each category.

Research Question

How does my everyday life compare to the rest of the world, and how can I portray it using design?
