Bio

Ryan Arthur O’Connor is a graphic designer focusing on branding and identity work. Ryan is a champion of creating an accessible and equitable design space. This past year he created Good Start, an online community for designers to pool resources, give feedback, and connect. He is currently working with UWM’s Norris Health Center to create design systems that emphasize student safety and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. He holds an unwavering curiosity for design and image-making leading to consistent contributions in local design projects. Ryan lives by the mantra of learning through living, taking his experiences with culture, nature, and history to expand his inspirations for design work. In his free time, you’ll find him wandering antique stores, stockpiling books, hoarding house plants, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, and donating to Wikipedia.
