Bio
Long Thao is 24 years old. Long was born in Thailand in a camp called, Wat Tham Krabok where all the Hmong people that escaped from the Vietnam War were placed at. Long went to Thai school for a couple of years while in Thailand. His family came to the United States in 2005 where he had the opportunity to learn and experience many things. It was scary yet the most life changing moment for him. Coming to the United States opened his entire life with many opportunities. Long knows three languages, and they are Hmong, Thai and English. Long is currently an undergraduate student at UW-Milwaukee majoring in Graphic Design in the Design and Visual Communication program. He has always loved art since he was little. Because of the language barrier, art has become a form of language that speaks well to him. He believes that design plays an important role in the world. Long has many other passions that he enjoys doing regularly. He loves music, and he play the guitar. He is just recently getting into photography where he has been taking clients such as family photoshoot, engagement photoshoot, senior portraits and many others. While not working with any clients, he spends time with landscape photography and astro-photography. He also loves to hang out with friends and play sports, especially volleyball.
