Bio

Danielle Jurjevic is a first generation student in the Design and Visual Communication program at UW-Milwaukee. Knowledgeable in both networking and time management, she has worked in the design field for three years while achieving her degree. She strives to advance her knowledge in both her individual position and in the company by accepting any task with enthusiasm, asking questions, and offering her assistance in all areas.

Currently, Danielle is working as a Creative Manager internally at GetHappy, a premium chocolatier with 7 locations in the Wisconsin/Illinois area. Achievements in her current role: creating social media content, product design, sales developer, hiring, and management of team.

Previously worked as a web designer, Google analytics, and event planner. Titles have included but not limited to: Graphic Designer, Freelance Designer, Web Designer, and Accounts Payable. A major strength is in her ability to be flexible and manage her time appropriately. Also willing to take on new tasks and clients, working to strengthen her knowledge in design with the goal of creating her own freelance company.

Description

This is a multi-set piece that unravels life’s notes and words of wisdom, passed on through family or simply mistakes and learning through life. I hope the viewer uncovers their own meaning from the work and enjoys the many pieces within the whole.

The large container is the self, and the interior works are the memories. With a portable outside we move through life at times never truly revealing ourselves to others. Time and effort are examples of how to get to know oneself or another, enjoy the journey as you uncover the messages and meanings through this piece.
