Abby Bruckner

Bio

Abby Bruckner is a Design and Visual Communication senior at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. In addition to her education, she seeks to expand her knowledge and experience through external paths, pursuing freelance opportunities for independent businesses, individuals and causes, and carrying out a UX/UI Design internship for UW-Milwaukee’s Student Affairs IT Services.

With focus on motion and narrative, Abby finds herself inspired by human connection and environmental interaction. She sees visual design not only as the ability to effectively establish an aesthetic, but also as an opportunity to establish a relationship, whether that relationship exists with people, situations or surroundings. The average day holds so many moments of interaction, and Abby considers design as a chance to innovatively enhance those moments in an effort to connect and improve lives.
