Cheers to Professor Kristin Trenholm on her retirement from @uwmilwaukee !
Kristin has been a huge asset to our department and we were so happy to celebrate with her last week. (She received so many flowers (see the picture!) and well-wishes!) She’s made a deep impact on our students, nominated several times for teaching awards for her comparative politics and international relations courses. She won Advisor of the Year from @dostuffuwm for her mentorship of our award-winning @pisigmaalpha chapter, @pisigmaalpha_uwm, which won the National Best Chapter Award three times under her leadership.
It’s safe to say Kristin has made a mark in her nearly 20 years with us — it’s also safe to expect she’ll be back on campus taking those Classics courses she loves so much in no time! We’re glad it’s not a total goodbye, but we will miss you, Kristin!
