The Department of Mathematical Sciences has a vibrant graduate program leading to both the MS and PhD degrees.

In addition to the traditional areas within Mathematics and Statistics, our department is home to UW-Milwaukee’s academic program in Actuarial Science. Students may prepare for careers in teaching at the secondary or college level and for careers in research in the academic, industrial, government, or business communities.
