Jodie Tabak

Jodie brings extensive experience from various sectors to UWM. As director of strategic communications, she oversees external and internal communications including public relations and executive communications. She also serves as the university spokesperson. Most recently, Jodie was part of the strategic communications team at Northwestern Mutual. Prior to that, Jodie spent 18 years in the Office of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett as his chief of staff and in other various roles. She is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
