Every month, the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center invites a local entrepreneur or community innovator to work with Milwaukee residents and UWM students, faculty, and staff. By offering these opportunities, LEC hopes to foster a larger community involved in entrepreneurship, including one that spans across disciplines and majors.

Brema Brema is the Founder and Creative Director of Unfinished Legacy. Unfinished Legacy, a Milwaukee-based streetwear brand dedicated to giving voice to its community. Designed for the inclusive, the creative, and the experimental, the brand reflects Brema’s vision and commitment to being “in endless pursuit of creative fulfillment.”

Loren Nelson is the Founder of of La’Vitta Marketing Management. Located in Accra, Ghana, LMM strives to “lend creativity and intention to elevate your presence, expand your influence, and create meaningful impact far beyond the digital space.” Leveraging digital expertise into tangible growth.

Genesis Renji is a local Emmy-nominated artist and audio engineer artist and audio engineer. With talents spanning from rapping and songwriting to music engineering, the Emmy-nominated emcee’s music is powered by lyrical finesse and a zealous knack for constant evolution. His music reflects his astrological mapping, a Gemini who channels his gift of duality by way of introspective verses and anthemic choruses. With a resume that includes landing song placements on Adult Swim and the OWN drama series Queen Sugar, Peacock’s Bel-Air, Nickelodeon, and more. Renji has also performed at a Milwaukee Bucks halftime show, and mainstage at Summerfest, while spearheading his own indie label (House of Renji). Genesis has proven his vocal dexterity and undeniable star power are one-of-one.

Apoorv Prasad earned his MS in Computer Science from UWM in 2020 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics where his research bridges computing, data science, and healthcare innovation. With professional certifications in AWS and Azure, he brings strong cloud engineering expertise to his work. Apoorv has also worked as a teacher at UWM, contributing to student learning while designing, managing, and optimizing infrastructure to support AI development.

Aaron Notestine writes and animates in 2D, Stop-Motion, and 3D. Having worked at Disney’s Pixar, DreamWorks, AMC Networks, and Sony Animation, Aaron enjoys the relative creative control owning and operating his own remote animation studio.
