Fuddah reports from 2023 Linguistic Institute

Doctoral student Aisha Fuddah attended the 2023 Linguistic Institute at University of Masschusetts, Amherst. See her reflections below.

Aisha writes: “The LSA Summer Institute was an immersive learning opportunity that felt like a year of graduate school packed into four weeks. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to network, exchange ideas, and explore new directions. I had the opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds in the field and delve into a wide array of topics in linguistics, further enriching my understanding of my specialisation.”

P.S. The photo shows autographs from two of Aisha’s favorite linguists, Mark Baker and David Pesetsky.
