Congratulations to Prof. Garry Davis

Professor Garry Davis is retiring from the faculty after 39 years at UWM.

Beyond his many scholarly contributions in historical linguistics, Germanic linguistics, and southeast Asian linguistics, he has been a valued colleague, mentor, advisor, and department chair.

We wish him well on a well-earned retirement, and we hope that Professor Emeritus Davis will not be a stranger!
