Biographical Sketch

My name is Dana Northrup. I advise continuing students from their sophomore year through graduation. I also work with students pursuing the Death Investigation, Forensic Science and Forensic Toxicology certificates as well as students who are on the Pre-Chiropractic track. I began working at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011.\nI graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in History with a minor in Mathematics and a certification to teach grades 6-12. I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development with an emphasis on Collegiate Student Affairs. Previous to UWM, I have 9 years experience working on the campuses of South Dakota State University, Marquette University and Cardinal Stritch University.\nAs your advisor, I hope to provide the assistance needed to guide you toward your academic and career goals. I can help you understand the graduation requirements, look for classes, explain university policies and processes, and connect you to campus resources. I hope to help you have a great experience at UW-Milwaukee!
