Cameron Got Her Dream Job Before Graduating from UWM

A young woman with shoulder-length brown hair stands in a lobby. On the wall behind her is the logo of WISN 12 News.
With help from her instructors, Cameron Knoll got an internship at WISN, the ABC station in Milwaukee.

Cameron, a journalism, advertising, and media studies major, had her heart set on becoming a photojournalist when she transferred to UWM. Once on campus, she knew exactly how to achieve that dream. With help from her instructors, Cameron got an internship at WISN, the ABC station in Milwaukee. Her internship turned into a full-time job even before she graduated.

“I’ve had an interest in being behind the camera since I was very young,” Cameron says. “Having the job that I dreamed to have one day is just so amazing.”
