Pre-Med/Pre-Physician Assistant/Pre-Pharmacy and other pre-healthcare

March 1, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

This event is ideal for future college students interested in healthcare professions such as doctor, pharmacist, veterinarian, dentist, physician assistant, optometrist, or other similar careers that require a specialized graduate degree after college. Get ready to start your classes in Fall 2022 with information about:

  • options for the major
  • building your credentials through research
  • hands-on healthcare experience
  • standardized tests required for graduate school application
  • admissions requirements in medicine and other healthcare programs
  • This open house is a great time to ask your questions and get them answered.

UWM also will be hosting in-person admitted student events where you can tour campus; meet some of your future classmates; learn about the resources and services available at UWM such as housing, financial aid, tutoring and more; and get a general academic overview. See dates and registration for these in-person events.

We encourage you and your family to participate in both the in-person and virtual program if you are able since the content is different. Let us show you everything that UWM has to offer you! Questions? Don’t see your major listed? Unable to attend? Let us know at let-sci@uwm.edu, and we can connect you directly to your program of interest.
