The GLAM Virtual Career Jam will consist of a virtual career fair available through Handshake, plus a series of career exploration panels on the following topics!

Throughout February, GLAM will be hosting a series of career panels with GLAM employers on a variety of library roles. All career panels will be held online through Zoom and are free to attend. Please see below for details on each panel and to register.

Prepare to Attend the Virtual Career Fair
Need some extra help preparing for the GLAM Career Jam? Julie Walker, UW-Milwaukee, School of Information Studies – Student/Alumni Engagement and Outreach Specialist and Amanda Kienow, Outreach and Communications Coordinator at UWM’s Center for Student Experience & Talent will host a GLAM Career Jam Prep Session on Tuesday, February 6th | Noon (CST). Get an overview of Handshake – GLAM’s virtual fair platform, learn tips on how to prepare your resume, research organizations, identify relevant interview questions, and networking do’s and don’ts.
