On Friday, July 10, 2026 the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) Graduate School will host its UWM Graduate School Preparatory Programs Visit– in person! This is an opportunity for top undergrad scholars from across the country to learn about graduate education, funding, and research at UWM. Students will be able to participate in a tour of the UWM campus and are encouraged to reach out to their graduate program of interest for a campus visit.
Tentative Agenda:
- 8:30am : Check-in & Light Breakfast
- 9:00am Welcome and outline of day
- 9:45am-10:15am How to Apply to the UWM Graduate School, plus Q&A
- 10:15am-10:45am Funding
- 10:45am-11:30am Grad Student Panel Featuring Students and Alumni
- 11:30am-12:15pm Lunch Break
- 12:15pm-1:15pm Outdoor Walking Tour of the UWM Campus
- 1:15pm Return to Fireside Lounge for closing remarks
