Monday, August 31st
-9:00am – 12:00pm — All New Teaching Assistants (Organized by the CASL: Center for Advancing Student Learning)

Note: All new graduate students should attend the All New Graduate Student Orientation. If you are an international student or have an assistantship, you may be required to attend multiple orientations listed above.
All New Graduate Students
Welcome to graduate studies at UWM! To help you get off to a strong start, the Graduate School invites all new graduate students to attend the New Graduate Student Orientation, held virtually on Monday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. This session is a great opportunity to learn about key resources, services, and support systems designed to help you succeed throughout your academic journey.
All incoming graduate students for the 2026–27 academic year are strongly encouraged to attend, in addition to any program-specific orientations.
