Bio

Since 2019, Kerry Hansen has been a writing specialist and academic coach for TRiO Student Support Services at the College of General Studies. She began her career teaching college composition and studying writing pedagogy for historically underrepresented populations. After directing a high school learning resource center, she now supports TRiO students on the Waukesha campus in a one-on-one environment. She especially enjoys working with students who have disabilities and won the Accessibility Resource Center Excellence Award in 2022.
