Engineering/Leadership Exploration for High School Students

In this engineering/leadership exploration class, high school students explore the numerous career paths that a degree in engineering offers! The week-long summer class includes visits to various companies and explores civil, electrical, industrial/manufacturing, mechanical, material, and architectural engineering as well as project management. Visits include SPX Transformer Solution, Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Husco International, TLX, and MWES Engineering. Visits include the opportunity to speak with engineers to gain a broad understanding of each field. This course can be taken for one college credit (optional).

Youth Policy

Youth Health forms are required of all minors (under 18) participating in our classes. Health Forms are to be filled out prior to check out when registering online. Along with our Health Forms, families are required to fill out and sign a “Student Program Policy” form, which outlines our classroom expectations for students as well as policies we have in place to ensure a safe learning environment for all our students and staff.

Student Program Policy forms must be scanned and emailed or mailed to Continuing Education before the start of class. Forms will also be accepted at check-in on the first day of camp.

Only students who have a signed parental release form granting them permission to walk home at the end of camp, will be able to leave unaccompanied by an adult.
