Information on the Closures of the Waukesha and Washington County Campuses

March 27, 2024

To College of General Studies employees,

UWM is working to provide all possible support to College of General Studies employees. Next week, UWM Department of Human Resources benefits specialists and a representative from our employee assistance program will be at the Waukesha campus to offer information and additional resources. UWM will have two sessions on the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP) on April 3.

Also, on April 10, a counselor with the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) will visit the Waukesha campus to provide a retirement presentation and resources for employees. An additional benefits consultation session has been added to the April 10 schedule.

All employees impacted by the upcoming closure of the College of General Studies after the Spring 2025 semester are welcome to attend any of the consultations and presentations. The ETF presentation is not limited to potential participants in the VSIP.
