Post-Racial America: The Historical & Societal Impact of Our First Black President

February 20, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Though the past eight years have proven that “Yes, we can”… what happens now? What exactly does it mean to be in “post-racial” America, and how do we continue to make progress, if we have made any? Join us for an evening of history and celebration as we discuss the events that led up to the election of November 8th, 2008 and how the world was impacted by the first black president of the United States.

Hosted by America’s Black Holocaust Museum’s head griot, Reggie Jackson.
