Building Ummah: Transcending Racial and Ethnic Divisions in the Muslim Community

Ummah is an Arabic word that means “community”. It is often a term referenced in calls for unity and transcending the racial and ethnic divisions in the Muslim community.

This event is free and open to the public. This panel discussion will be held in the Wisconsin Room Lounge. Moderators: Dr. Anna Mansson McGinty (Geography and Women’s and Gender Studies) and Dr. Ermitte St. Jacques (Africology).
