Bio
Marc Young serves as Chief Recruitment and Outreach Officer and Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). In this role, he supports and oversees the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA), TRIO and Pre-College Programs (TPP), and the Office of Student Enrollment Communications (OSEC). Marc leads efforts to strengthen student recruitment, family engagement, and awareness of the university’s undergraduate pathways and support resources.
Marc joined UWM in Fall 2021 as Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions and has led strategic initiatives to expand access and build relationships across diverse communities to grow new student enrollment. Prior to his work at UWM, Marc held a variety of roles at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, culminating in his appointment as Director of Admissions, where he advanced enrollment strategies and student outreach efforts.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. His professional work centers on enhancing equitable access to higher education and fostering inclusive practices across recruitment and enrollment systems.
