Congratulations to UWM researchers Anne Bonds, professor of geography, and Derek Handley, assistant professor of English, who were awarded a federal grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities of nearly $150,000 to continue their research into restrictive racial covenants and the resistance to them in Milwaukee County.
