The UWM Creative Writing Graduate Program’s Student-Faculty Reading Series: United We Read is holding an event at 6:30 pm on Friday, March 7 at Boswell Book Company (2559 N. Downer Ave.) with Nancy Nguyen, Carly Davis, Ali Nowac, and Professor Rebecca Dunham.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind film program featuring Karen Pearlman’s raucous new documentary Breaking Plates, followed by eleven archival shorts from Cinema’s First Nasty Women compilation, curated by Maggie Hennefeld, Laura Horak, and Elif Rongen-Kaynakçi for Kino-Lorber.
