Choral composer Dr. Daniel Afonso (California State University, Stanislaus) wrote a choral score to Professor Brenda Cárdenas’s poem “Para los tin-tun-teros.” The collaboration (score with poem) was published in 2023 by Hal Leonard Music and will be performed at Carnegie Hall on March 12, 2024 at 8:00pm, by the National Concert Chorus with seven other new choral compositions.
