The UWM Economics Department was extremely well represented at the Midwest Economics Association Meeting at the end of March held in Chicago. Professor Rebecca Neumann joined many graduate students and alumni in attending and presenting research. Indeed, the turnout was so large that we are likely to forget some who were there – sorry. Alumni participating included Benjamin Adams (PhD 2024), Martin Meder (PhD 2018), Sujata Saha (PhD 2017), Hardik Marfatia (PhD 2013) and Kenneth Fjell (PhD 1998).
Current graduate students participating included Alexander Anagbado, Ethan Ballou, Labesh Kumar, Seth Meyer, Jan Philip Steitz and Jiyue Wang.
All reported learning and benefiting from presenting, listening to others present and from informal contact with researchers in the field. Thanks to all our donors who help make this happen!
