For the third year the Department held an end-of-year gathering bringing together current and graduating students, faculty, alumni and friends. Ann Pencak led the proceedings and Kristen Carioti (PhD 2011) served as guest speaker describing her journey from UWM economics student to the Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences at Mount Mary University here in Milwaukee. She provided career advice and impressed on everyone the importance of practicing and teaching financial literacy.
The event was well attended and it was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Watch for us next year!
